The Guide MobIR ES2 transforms your smartphone or tablet into a fully-fledged thermal imaging camera in an instant. Thanks to its compact, plug-and-play design, the ES2 is ready for immediate use in a wide range of inspection tasks, such as HVAC inspection, electrical fault-finding, PCBA inspection and structural inspections. Connection is simple via USB-C, allowing you to use the same thermal imaging camera on multiple devices.
With a NETD of ≤15 mK, the ES2 accurately captures even small temperature differences. The temperature range of -20 to 550 °C is divided into two automatically switching ranges, enabling you to take measurements quickly and reliably. The 256 × 192 infrared detector is upscaled in real time to 512 × 384, delivering a detailed and sharp thermal image. With a field of view of 56° × 42° and a frame rate of 30 Hz, the ES2 is ideally suited for inspecting, amongst other things, switchboards, printed circuit boards, installations and technical components.
With the free FocusIR app for iOS and Android, you can get the most out of the ES2. Analyse temperatures using point, line and area measurements, choose from 12 different colour palettes or create your own, and set temperature alarms. You can also easily capture and share thermal images and videos.
The ES2 is designed for intensive use. The camera has an IP54 rating, can withstand a drop from up to 2 metres and weighs just 31 grams. As it does not have its own battery, the ES2 is always ready for use: it draws just 400 mW from the connected smartphone or tablet.
The ES2 is also suitable for very small components. With the optional magnetic 15× macro lens, you can capture detailed close-ups of small parts.
